Also we will be having a students meeting at break Wednesday, January 4th in Mr. Milligan’s room to collect the permission slips distributed before the break.

10/14/11-Open House Info.
Just wanted to remind everyone that open house is tomorrow and I would ask that students, especially the veteran members, begin to arrive at 10:30 to help with the setup. Please remember that students must also be in full dress code, I would ask if students have the white robotics polo they wear that. We will meet in the Gym and when enough students arrive we will go to Woodburn to get everything we will need for open house.

10/1/11-Welcome Letter
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of the new and returning members of the robotics team to the new school year and inform everyone of two very important meetings in the up coming weeks, the first being a student meeting after school Wednesday, October 5th, and a parents meeting Thursday, October 13th at 7pm. Both meetings will take place in Woodburn in room 403, it is the building alongside the track and behind O’Neil.
The student meeting this Wednesday, October 5th, will start immediately after school and all members should attend especially new members. The first hour will be spent discussing upcoming events such as the Open House on October 16th from 10:30am to 2:30pm, students will sign up to work in 1 hour shifts so we have at least 5 people at the table all day, we will also discuss how the robotics competition works, the parents meeting, and we will briefly go over the November 13th FLL Event. After this discussion new members will be able to leave but are welcome to stay and watch the veteran members, who should remain in order to prepare last years robot for Open House. All of this will be discussed in depth at the Parents Meeting.
Finally, all students should have registered at http://www.falconroboticsteam1626.org/student/ and all students should also have received 2 forms, a Commitment Form and a Parents Volunteer Form, if you are missing these forms they can be printed from our website above. Please note that these 2 forms and the $150 check should be turned in no later than the October 13th parents meeting.
If you will be unable to attend please let me know immediately so I can make sure you receive all the necessary information.
Hope to see you at the meeting!
